Awakening Souls Meeting 2020
Information and Registration
The 2020 Awakening Souls Meeting
Healing This Unhealable World
July 17-19, 2020
Optional Retreat Day July 16, 2020
Let’s be honest: the world is too big to heal. Starvation in Africa in a world of plenty; racism in nearly every country in the world; the oppression of women; the exploitation of children, the degradation of the environment. The list can go on.
Yet, when the circle is smaller, say your own country, your town, your block, your house or apartment, what needs to be healed and the possibility of healing is apparent and we feel we must act. The world cannot be healed and yet it must be healed. We, ourselves, cannot be healed because we have endless faults that remain no matter how much we try to eradicate them. And yet… and yet, it must be done, filling up the well with snow, putting out the fires with droplets of water when we need an ocean.
At this ASM we will refuse to be idealists, thinking we can do it all. And we will refuse to be swamped and defeated because we cannot look reality in the eye. Please come and be with yourself in everyone else’s presence while we tackle what we must.

OPTIONAL RETREAT DAY WITH JASON
(Only for ASM participants)
“To stand in awareness of what is present is to enter the presence of God.”
Our silent retreat day is an opportunity to step out of daily life and enter the stream of open-heartedness to What-Is.
This is a day of spiritual nourishment just for you. During this day of relaxation and healing, you may choose NKH practices, such as the Work of Return, Impersonal Movement, the Magi Process, and NKH meditations, or other practices or activities that bring you into a closer relationship to “what is present,” such as journaling, reading, painting or sketching, intentional walking, etc.
As is traditional, during this retreat we will have periods called “Running and Returning.” During these times you can do formal practices or do other creative things, coming and going as the spirit moves you.
Except for the question and answer period with Jason, this retreat is held in silence.
Awakening Souls Meeting 2020
Our Awakening Souls Meeting is a precious opportunity to gather as a community, to practice and play together, and to connect with nature, other members of the ASOS community and, perhaps most importantly, to ourselves. We will explore how to be a healing presence in the overwhelming flood of brokenness in our world.
TEACHERS and PRESENTATIONS
This year’s spiritual teachings will be presented by Jason Shulman, Brenda Blessings, Jeff Ellias-Frankel and Eileen Marder-Mirman.
NKH graduates, current NKH students, IM graduates, Work of Return Professional Training students and Nondual Shamanism students are invited to attend the Awakening Souls Meeting and an optional retreat day. To discuss the possibility of inviting loved ones who are not otherwise involved with the School, please email us by clicking here

If we are able to fill most of the Guest House rooms, we can enjoy exclusive use of the facility for the duration of the retreat.

Sheets and towel sets are provided and extra blankets and pillows are available in each closet. There are no televisions or telephones in guest bedrooms. No refunds will be given if a guest leaves GH mid-retreat for any reason. Any roommates affected will not be required to pay the difference for an upgrade.
If, upon arrival or mid-retreat, a guest chooses to move to a single room, they will pay the full single rate. The roommate(s) will not be charged for the resulting upgrade if another roommate is not found.
SNORING… It happens to the best of us.
